(Green unripened papaya)

Green unripened papaya is a rich source of papain, a commonly used proteolytic enzyme. Proteolytic enzymes have a unique ability to safely digest only dead or diseased protein material without damaging or irritating healthy underlying tissue or sensitive skin. Additional benefits include enhancing other skin resurfacing agents and assisting in removing follicular retention. Green unripened papaya is great for daily use in conjunction with clinical procedures — where it can virtually eliminate temporary dryness and flaking — as well as with home use of glycolic acid, retinoic acid and/or other acne medications.
